Department of Business Management ,RTM Nagpur University, is one of the pioneer Institute in the field of management education since 1970. Our flagship course, a two year full time MBA program was started in the year 1980 with a mission to develop globally competitive managers. DBM has been at the forefront of conceiving a paradigm of management education that combines theoretical input with the expectation of the cooperate world. Considering change as eternal, DBM has adopted itself to the transaction in the business world, by giving value base education to its students. These endeavors have helped our students to excel at their work places. The fact that DBM has produced more than 1800 managers who are well received in India and abroad by public and private sectors is a testimony to this fact.

Collaboration with other Institutions: Department is Planning to start courses in financial Markets in collaborate with National Stock Exchange of India Limited. Meeting of University and NSE Officials was held on 28th November 2011.

Current events: (seminars/workshops/conference /other activities): Spandan Inter-Collegiate Cultural fest. It’s a much awaited mega youth festival organized by the students of DBM. Students collect funds for the event through sponsorship. Various cultural activities and competitions are held during the festival, that include Quiz, Role play, Case study and various managerial and cultural events. It gives students exposures to event management, financial planning which helps in team building.
Ranbhoomi…. Department of Business Management organizes sports festival. It’s an inter –collegiate cricket tournament for management institutes. All management colleges under RTMNU participate in this tournament.
Industrial visit The Department believes in Industry- Institute Interface to facilitate direct interaction of the students with corporate world . This year our students visited companies like Amul, Mahindra and Ashok Leyland.
