1) For Three years worked as a Junior Research Fellow (1988-1991) in DST sponsored ‘Coordinated project on deep sea fans of the Bay of Bengal’ (Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehra Dun). 2) For two years worked as a Senior Research Fellow (1991-1992) in CSIR sponsored research project entitled ‘Palynostratigraphic studies on the Rajpardi lignite of Broach district Gujarat with special emphasis on age of the Tarkeshwar Formation of South Cambay Basin’. Awarded Ph.D degree from the work carried out. (Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehra Dun). 3) For two years and three months worked as a Research Scientist (1994-1996) in DST Sponsored project entitled ‘Palynofloristic investigations of the Rajpardi and Bhavnagar lignite of Gujarat, with specific emphasis on paleofloristic and paleoclimatic relations between India and Africa’ under Science and Engineering Scheme for Young Scientist. (Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur). 4) For four years worked as a Research Associate (1996-2000) in CSIR sponsored research project entitled ‘Palynological studies of Surat lignite deposits of Gujarat with emphasis on the Age and depositional environment of the basin’ (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur). 5) For three years worked as a Senior Research Associate under Scientists’ Pool Scheme, (2001-2004) in CSIR sponsored research project entitled ‘Microfossil study of Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) Lameta Formation around Nand-Dongargaon basin of Maharashtra with special emphasis on microfossil remains of coprolites’ (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur).

1) SERC Fast Track Project Scheme for Young Scientists entitled ‘Palynofloral analysis of Lameta Formation and intertrappean sequences in Nand-Dongargaon basin and adjoining areas of central India to record floral changes induced by changing climatic scenario owing to increasing Deccan volcanic activity in space and time during Late Cretaceous (Maestrichtian)’ sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi (11,00,000/-).
2) ‘Palynological study of the Deccan Volcanic Associated Sediments in Saurashtra (Gujarat), western India to record floral changes towards the Cretaceous Tertiary Boundary’ Research project sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi (Rs.15, 32, 000/-).
