AWARD :         Scholarship of Rs.500/- each per month for ten months in a academic  year (1997-98)

              1.       The Endowment shall be called “Mr. Govind Bapuji Vaidya Memorial Merit Scholarships Fund”.  And the  Scholarship shall be named as Mr. Govind Bapuji Vaidya Memorial Merit             Scholarship.

2.       The Management Council of Nagpur University shall be the Administrator of the said fund.

3.       Out of the total annual income 5% shall be deducted as administrative charges.  The net income shall be applied for the award of two Scholarships in accordance with the provisions in the regulations.  Balance income, if any shall be allowed to accumulate and when possible be added to the fund.

4.         To be modified  :  Every year one monthly scholarship shall be awarded to a student of L.I.T. Nagpur who amongst the successful candidates has obtained highest marks at B.Tech. examination in Chemical Engg. Or Chemical Technology and joined for M.Tech. course in Food Technology at L.I.T. Nagpur.

                        Other Conditions of the scholarship will be as follow  :

            1.         He/She would have passed all the previous examinations in first attempt in the      minimum  period  and without grace.

            2.         If the first merit candidate is not eligible or available it shall be given to the second    merit candidate.

            3.         He/She shall not be held this Scholarship inconjection with other Scholarships.
