    • The Centre is housed in Amba Vihar, the premises of Late Justice Niyogi with adjoining 6 acres of

       land for Mulberry plantation and other activities.

    • Completed successfully the biological pest management project sponsored by International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Canada (1984-1990)
    • Propagated Sericulture activities in Vidarbha by starting a farmers training course in Vidarbha (1988).
    • Farmers Workshop sponsored by IDRC, Canada on Sericulture and pest management was organized (1990)
    • A diploma in Sericulture (1 year) aiming at self employment and job orientation was started in 1996-97.
    • Activities of Centre oriented in teaching and training rural students, farmers and women.
